GET TO KNOW US

At Aromabika, it begins with the luwak(Civet).

The luwak plays a unique role in the early selection of coffee cherries, choosing only the ripest fruit.

This natural selection becomes the starting point of our coffee’s character and sets the foundation for its aroma and flavor.

From there, everything we do follows one clear belief:

Coffee is tasted through aroma first.

Before the first sip, the sense of smell already shapes the experience. Aroma prepares the palate and defines how coffee will taste. This principle guides how we source, process, and roast every bean at Aromabika.

The name Aromabika reflects this philosophy.

Our Philosophy:
Aroma-First Coffee

We believe aroma is not a by-product of coffee—it is its foundation.

From bean selection to roast profile, every decision is made to protect and enhance aroma. When aroma is preserved, flavor follows naturally.

This approach allows us to create coffee that is balanced, expressive, and enjoyable without unnecessary complexity.

Aroma-first coffee is at the heart of everything we do at Aromabika.

Why We Start with the Luwak

The luwak is nature’s first coffee selector.

By instinct, luwaks choose only fully ripe coffee cherries, which contain higher sugar levels and more developed flavor precursors.

This natural selection reduces defects at the earliest stage and establishes a higher baseline for quality before any human processing begins.

We choose to start with the luwak because it aligns with our focus on aroma, balance, and smoothness—not because of rarity, but because of process.

Coffee Sourcing

Our beans are sourced from selected growing regions through trusted farmers and suppliers who prioritize quality and responsible practices.

When luwak coffee is involved, we work only with partners who follow ethical collection standards and proper handling.

After collection, all beans undergo thorough cleaning, drying, and sorting to ensure hygiene, safety, and consistency.

Each batch is evaluated for freshness, cleanliness, and aroma potential before moving to roasting.

Our Roasting Approach

Aromabika uses a medium-dark roast profile designed to balance bitterness and acidity. This roast level enhances the natural aroma and flavor of the beans without masking their character.

The result is a cup that is smooth, well-rounded, and rich, while remaining approachable and easy to enjoy.

Roasting is done with precision and consistency to ensure every cup reflects the same balance and quality.
